Legacy Names Head Cheer Coach




Sierra Quiroga Named Legacy Head Cheer Coach SPRING, Texas (June 16, 2020) Legacy the School of Sport Sciences has named Sierra Quiroga as the Titans’ Head Cheer coach. Quiroga will also teach middle school Social Studies. Sierra Quiroga has cheered and danced competitively since she was two years old. She attended Goose Creek Memorial High School, where she was captain of the Varsity cheer squad. Quiroga is a 3-time NCA All American Cheerleader, 2-time NCA Jump Queen, and 3-time NCA Dancing Diva. She has traveled overseas and was a part of London’s New Year Day Parade.

Following high school, Quiroga cheered two years at the collegiate level before becoming a Houston Texans Cheerleader. She has served two seasons with the Houston Texans. She was named 2018 P.R.O. All Star. During her rookie season, she was chosen to travel overseas with the Armed Forces Entertainment group. This was such an honor to travel and perform for service men and women on their bases, and to bring a little light to deployment. Quiroga continues to work with the Houston Texans teaching various yoga, dance, and health classes with the Houston Texans Teen Club.

Quiroga recently graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. She plans to continue her education and further her career.

Legacy Varsity cheer will participate in competitive cheer as a member of the Texas Charter School Academic and Athletic League (TCSAAL) for the 2021 season.
