Teachers vs Students

At Legacy the School of Sports Sciences, we are a campus that has a mixture of middle school and high school students, as well as teachers of course. So, I decided to ask both students and teachers how we handle stress and manage our time, and I noticed we do it pretty differently. As a student, I feel like we have a lot to balance, like schoolwork, sports, and sometimes stuff outside of school, too. When I asked other students, they said they try to manage their time by doing homework after practice, using their phones or planners to keep track of assignments, and taking breaks so they don’t get too stressed. A lot of us said we feel pressure before games or big tests, and we deal with it by listening to music, talking to friends, or just trying not to overthink everything.
When I asked the teachers, they explained that they handle stress in a more organized way. They said they plan out their days, make schedules, and set goals for what they need to get done. Teachers also said they try to stay calm even when things get busy, and some of them manage stress by exercising or relaxing after school.
I think the biggest difference is that students are still learning how to manage everything, so we can get overwhelmed more easily, while teachers already have systems that help them stay organized.
Even though we handle things differently, both students and teachers are trying to stay on top of everything and not let stress take over.
